Our health care system is in need of a redesign and nurses are leading that transformation.
Ten bold projects, led by nurses and funded by a $14 million grant, are set to transform nursing as we know it. Dramatic improvements to access, care, and outcomes are the goal in bringing these projects to scale. We are enabling nurses to design a future where they are valued and compensated for the expertise and care they provide. A future where nurses are listened to and empowered to lead.
These pilot projects are already demonstrating the potential for industry-wide adoption with evidence of impact.
The Foundation is excited to announce a request for proposals (RFP) for the second phase of the Reimagining Nursing Initiative, with a total of $2 million in grant funding available. The submission portal is now open, and we invite nurse-led teams and current grantees to submit proposals focused on the patient care journey.
The RFP includes two funding categories: Reimagining Practice Settings, which will distribute $1.5 million to nurse-led teams, and Reimagining Areas of Synergies, which will offer grants to current grantees.
Proposals for this round of funding are due on January 17, 2025, at 4 p.m. EST via the Submission Portal.
Join us in this exciting opportunity to reimagine nursing and disrupt the world of health care for the better!
